A Quote by Peyton Hillis

I want people to see I can do a variety of roles, not just tailback. — © Peyton Hillis
I want people to see I can do a variety of roles, not just tailback.
Honestly, I'm willing to experiment with far more variety in roles than I'm given. But ultimately, it's the producer's decision. But, I've done a variety of roles - the evil don, the evil husband... I've done villainous roles, supporting roles, etc.
A lot of people think that there has to be extreme continuity in an album, but if you look at my background, it's variety! I want to see some variety in an artist, I want to be entertained, I want some depth. Show me some different styles!
I am extremely choosy about my roles as I want variety; I would like to work with the best of people.
A lot of people get stereotyped into roles just from how they look, and I have played such a variety of characters.
I have so far played a variety of roles and enjoyed all of them. But I am biased towards positive roles because I love staying peaceful and bringing smiles on people's faces.
I want what's mine. I see other actors who are doing very interesting roles, and I just want to continue to do things that are interesting, and things that people will go see in theaters.
I change myself a lot. Some roles you don't want to be big, bulky, muscle-y guy and some roles you want to be a lean, marathon-runner physical type. And some roles you just don't want to be in shape.
I've always played variety of roles and don't want to get typecast.
I want variety. I certainly don't want any kind of hype if I can avoid it. I'm trying to play parts which are a little more out there, but I want variety, I suppose, because - like a lot of people - I'm easily bored.
I don't want to play father roles. And I use father roles figuratively for roles that are just hanging around... don't want to be a piece of furniture in films.
Ultimately, I don't really want to see the media portraying curvier and fatter bodies being the norm, I want to see a variety of bodies of all shapes, sizes, colors, and orientations, all of the time just like we do in reality.
People like you in negative roles, they want to see you only in negative roles and thus you get typecast. At the end of the day, what matters is whether the audience loves you or not.
Being an actor I believe in doing a variety of roles so that the audience gets to see different shades of me.
I always keep myself open to different roles because I believe by taking up a variety of roles, one's true potential is unearthed.
I'm so sick of hearing how there's no strong roles for women. I don't care about strong roles. I just want to see women who are characters! A nun, a serial killer, a housewife, as long as there's some depth there.
I'm trying to avoid any more asshole roles, at least for a little bit. The main criteria for me when choosing a project is a good director. I just want to work with these guys that I admire because I do want to direct my own films one day, and I want to pick their brains to see what their process is like, and see what I can take from that.
