I think everybody, from every end of the market place, from young through to old, wants to be fashionable. Everybody. Women want to feel like they're wearing the right merchandise, regardless of age. They want to be trendy.
You want everybody to like your work, but when you look at what's fashionable or trendy, it's pretty obvious that I don't exactly fit.
At the end of the day if you want to effectively market to a target group, you're not going to appeal to everybody. Those companies that try and cater to everybody, end up making everybody not care.

Everybody wants to win. You know, nobody ever wants to feel like they lost. That was probably one of biggest lessons I learned. You don't want to be that guy sort of banging fist on table telling somebody what you want. People want to feel like they had enough value on both sides that the deal worked out on both ends. I had an incredible team in place that really supported me and I would not have been able to get the deal done had it not been for those people.
I think that lyrically, 'Safe' is a very positive song: it's very strong; it's about keeping somebody safe and protecting people. I think everybody anywhere in the world can relate to it. I think everybody wants to feel safe; everybody wants to feel protected.
I think that everybody needs four things in life. Everybody needs something to do regardless of age. Everybody needs someone to love. Everybody needs something to hope for, and, of course, everybody needs someone to believe in.

People want people to do well. You can get focused on the bitter side of it, like, 'Everybody wants you to fail. Everybody's keeping the door closed to you,' but that's not true at all. Everybody's kind of in the same boat.
I'm not upset when a person wants to move around, because I want everybody to be happy and I don't want nobody to feel like I'm holding them in a situation they shouldn't be in.
