Kerala is called 'God's own country.' We need to make sure it is really so, for which we should ensure the entire state, including rivers and backwaters, are clean.
I like Kerala a lot. The beautiful beaches there, the backwaters - I have good memories of the place.
I must say the geographically small State of Kerala has been traditionally influencing the discourse of the country with progressive ideas and innovative programs. Its voice really transcends the physical boundaries of the State.
I think what Democrats need to do is they need to work for the country and make sure that not only the southern border but the northern border is secure - make sure that we have the ability on the borders to be able to screen every vehicle coming across to make sure that drugs don't come into this country.
There isn't a river or creek in the country - or there are very few - that doesn't have some small group of people working on a restoration or creek cleanup project. Let me give you one example that's a great metaphor: In Washington, D.C., there is a group called the Anacostia Watershed Society. Two rivers converge and define Washington - one which everybody knows about, the Potomac, and the Anacostia, which they don't. The Anacostia is one of the most polluted urban rivers in the country.
If God has called you to China or any other place and you are sure in your own heart, let nothing deter you.Remember, it is God who has called you and it is the same as when He called Moses or Samuel.
Kerala's strength is not the size of its state exchequer, but it is the support of Malayalis from all over the world and others who love Kerala.
It is not differences of opinion; it is geographical lines, rivers, and mountains which divide State from State, and make different nations of mankind.
Why should the Arabs make peace? If I was an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country. Sure God promised it to us, but what does that matter to them? Our God is not theirs.
We have to address the issues which prevent clean cities, clean rivers, regular, uninterrupted supply of essentials like water and electricity.
I come from a state in India that is a matrilineal state, Kerala. And so women really are seen as very powerful.
It is the RSS and the BJP that have always initiated political violence in our midst; not just in Kerala, but in the entire country.
Sure there are people who do everything "I do my own beats, my own lyrics, my own mixing, my own mastering, my own art, my own booking, my own managing, my own merch" it's like... ya that sucks, it can't be very good for you, and might be why you aren't getting ahead because you really need to focus on the music where others should be focusing on those other aspects.
We are killing, absolutely killing our energy business in this country. Now I'm all for alternative forms of energy, including wind, including solar, et cetera, but we need much more than wind and solar. You look at our miners, Hillary Clinton wants to put all the miners out of business. There is a thing called clean coal. Coal will last for 1,000 years in this country. Now we have natural gas and so many other things because of technology. We have unbelievable, we have found over the last seven years, we have found tremendous wealth under our feet. So good.
Our country is secular and Kerala is one state where it plays out at its best.
There's no excuse in 2019, with the wealth we have as a nation, with the technology we have as a country, that we cannot clean this water, ensure that all communities have clean drinking water.
70 to 80 percent of country economy is controlled by the Bolivian state, and the other percentage by the private sector. We admit that it's legal, constitutional, that the private sector is entitled to its own economy, but to ensure these profound changes that clearly this government is promoting, including profound changes in the food industry, what we are doing is an important step.
