I think there is always new people that have never heard the gospel before that need to have it because the gospel - which is the death, resurrection of Christ and the message of his forgiveness - is the only hope for a person knowing that they will go to Heaven and then finding the meaning and purpose they search for in life.
Death is not a curse to be outwitted no matter the cost. Death is the natural pivot on which life turns, without which life as we know it could not be. They aim rather at what seems like a gradual incarnation, a bringing into our human existence of something eternal, something that appears to imagination to live in a heaven remote from strife and failure and the devouring jaws of Time.
