I have got lot of appreciation for my performances in many Kannada films. In fact, I got the best roles of my career in Kannada films.
I have been watching all kind of films and I am a bit familiar with Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.
I am not really missing theatre as I get to act in films, that too in different languages, such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Marathi, my mother tongue.

Each form of the acting is different. I think it keeps your mind active. TV, film and theater are different disciplines, as are independent films, opposed to studio films. There are differences in the size and the genre, or a period drama as opposed to a contemporary drama, or the types of characters.
Kannada films are my way of reconnecting with Karnataka, which is close to my heart.
