A Quote by Rachel G. Fox

As an actress, I'm constantly watching different shows and films and am always gathering information and inspiration for characters and techniques to make my performances the best they can be.
But I would say maybe just from an actress's perspective, probably 'Woman Under the Influence' is the best movie of all time... The style of filmmaking and the performances ... you don't feel like you're watching a film.
But I would say maybe just from an actress's perspective, probably 'Woman Under the Influence' is the best movie of all time. The style of filmmaking and the performances... you don't feel like you're watching a film.
I grew up watching different kinds of shows and films and read so many different authors.
I want my films to be different, to use different techniques, not just make a calling card film.
I don't really like to arrange shows by best performances. That's why Emmy season is kind of a chore for me. Unlike movies, where it's easier to decide who was the best performance, a TV show goes up and down, including characters/portrayals.
There are lots and lots of different films that I love, and watching different characters and how different people play them.
I like watching different kind of shows, but I hate watching myself on TV. I feel I am a terrible actor.
It may seem that I am doing films in different languages, which of course I am, but more importantly, I am performing different characters and every character has so much to teach. It makes me happy that I am associated with so many film industries.
As an actress, I am eager to explore different characters.
If I am comfortable with my co-star, then that always shows in my performances.
The normal way of gathering information is through sound: when you hear information that you want to gather, you look in its direction, you see what it is, if you choose you can get closer, you can see it, you can touch, and then, finally, the most committed form of data gathering is to taste it and eat it. But for the urbanite, we're cut off from our primary sense, and I want to stress that - our primary sense of gathering information about the place that we're living in - and instead, we're in a war zone.
Obviously, a lot of TV shows are based on chronological episode viewing, and the stories are contingent upon watching it in order. Syndicated shows, you don't have to watch in order. You're just watching characters that don't change that much.
I think that the best part of being an Indian actress is that you can be a part of so many different films in different languages.
I am definitely going to continue directing, but I am always going to try to explore new ways of making films. It really is possible to make films in different ways.
I am constantly thinking of different ideas and formats for TV shows. I am in a place where anything is possible if you want to do it.
My father is my idol, and I have grown up watching his films. He is my biggest influence and inspiration. I have learnt a lot from him, and I am who I am because of him. I'm extremely grateful to him for that.
