At first, when I did everything myself, I'd set up a tripod, film and then press stop. That's why all my shots are on a tripod and don't move, and that's why my videos are still filmed this way.
There are ways of angling the camera. I don't just use a tripod. The only time I did that was in '88 when I first came out of detox, I spent every day doing self-portraits to fit back into my own skin. If you are going to use military force, then you ought to use overwhelming military force. Use too much and deliberately use too much; you'll save lives, not only your own, but the enemy's too.
If you think customers are impatient in New York, wait to you see how impatient they are here in L.A.
I'm too direct and too unsparingly impatient.
I'm too impatient.
Excuses are the explanations we use for hanging on to behaviors we don't like about ourselves; they are self-defeating behaviors we don't know how to change. InExcuses Begone! I review 18 of the most common excuses people use, such as "I'm too busy, too old, too fat, too scared or it's going to take too long or be too difficult."
We can celebrate the speed at which LGBT equality has progressed, but we also have to acknowledge that it wasn't fast enough, because too many people didn't get to experience it. We can never be too impatient.
Don't get impatient when it takes too long.
