Being attentive to the things that add meaning to our lives alongside politics will help us inform our politics with the values that really do make America great.
Reading makes immigrants of us all. It takes us away from home, but more important, it finds homes for us everywhere.

Each person deserves a day away in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for. Each of us needs to withdraw from the cares which will not withdraw from us.
