A Quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson

Some of the sweetest hours in life, in retrospect will be found to have been spent with books. — © Ralph Waldo Emerson
Some of the sweetest hours in life, in retrospect will be found to have been spent with books.
The happiest and most glorious hours of my life with books have been with German books.
I think some of the scariest people I've met in my life have been some of the sweetest.
I've always been aware of 'Spiderman' on the newsstands, but I never followed the comics with any great zeal, probably because I've spent most of my conscious life as an actor and just never found the time for comic books.
[Unbelievers] think they have made great efforts to get at the truth when they have spent a few hours in reading some book out of Holy Scripture, and have questioned some cleric about the truths of the faith. After that, they boast that they have searched in books and among men in vain.
