I'm still overwhelmed and, at the same time, kind of star struck that I am part of this New England Patriots organization.
I am star-struck but also I've known a lot of people for a long time. Like I'm super star-struck by Grant Lee Phillips and Jon Brion but I've known them for 17 years. So it's kinda like weird to be star-struck still, but I still am!
There is no doubt that the New England Patriots are the greatest football team of all time, which is why it is my distinct pleasure to proclaim the week of February 4, 2019 as New England Patriots Appreciation Week in the State of New Hampshire.
The New England Patriots have always been a special organization and I've always watched from afar.
I think we have to find somebody out there to beat New England besides us, and I think that would help. Anybody out there that wants to sign up for it? Are you good enough as a team to beat the New England Patriots? Forget about us, are you good enough to go out and beat the New England Patriots? I'm challenging the league.
It's time for the New England Patriots to move on and that's what our job is. And as I said, our goal is the same: to have a winning football team, to be a pillar in the community. That's what our direction is; that's what we're going to do.
If Russell Wilson gets outside of the protection and can scramble around, New England loses. If the Patriots keep him in the pocket, New England wins.
I am aware of the changes, but in no sense am I believer that we live in a post-racial society. That's a description of our inheritance and that is theirs, which is inescapable. It is doesn't matter if you are from New England or Mississippi. You're an American. It doesn't matter if you are white, black, brown, or Asian. It is part of American society. You'd have to be blind, deaf, or dumb not to know it. The emphasis on color or the fear of it, is all part of the same dark flower. I am trying to point to that and to bring it all the way back from Senegal.
I can say playing for the New England Patriots has been the highlight of my life.
I'm driven by my passion - my family, my philanthropy, and the New England Patriots winning. That's my life.
Deflategate. I mean it's kind of idiotic in one way. On the other hand, look how totally obsessed we are with the fact that the New England Patriots may have taken, I don't know, a half-pound or a pound square inch of air pressure out of the footballs. We love it.
In the kind of New England I'm from, you are expected to stay and marry somebody from New England - well, Maine, actually - so I think it was seen as a betrayal when I left for New York, which has been my refuge.
Industries only vary in scale and not in content, so I was never star-struck about Bollywood. However, I am fortunate to make it to Hindi because several people aspire to be a part of this industry.
I still get star-struck by people like Harrison Ford, but I think it's become more natural and more a part of my life. You have to be professional and keep a straight face. You can squeal behind their backs.
I was a star in England, but Ive never been a star in America. Now I am.
I was a star in England, but I've never been a star in America. Now I am.
I don't think that now I am a star. I don't get too much time to interact with people, and I am quite busy with work. I work. I come back home, and my loved ones are still the same. They will never change. And, I travel. I have not realised or internalised that life has changed.
