My father was Donald Trump, and my mother was Hillary Clinton, and my grandmother was Nancy Pelosi. And I was - I wanna say, Mike Pence, 'cause he's the gayest one.
Mike Pence did ask this question about debt and the debt explosion on the [Donald] Trump plan is much, much bigger than anything on the [Hillary] Clinton side.
A lot of people want Trump to be impeached. I do not. Because just when you think Trump is awful, you remember Mike Pence. Mike Pence is what happens when Anderson Cooper isn't gay.
Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi that don't know what's coming, 'cause it's Chuck and Nancy that have never dealt with somebody like Donald Trump, because they're the ones living in a cocoon and they're the ones that don't know what life is really like in the business world. And I guarantee you they don't. Business people, to Chuck and Nancy, are donors. Business people, to Chuck and Nancy, are the golden goose. They'll never run out of money. We'll keep taxing 'em. We'll keep asking for donations.
Hillary Clinton thinks the government ought to have the power to eliminate - they go after Donald Trump saying he wants to expand libel laws. Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Party want to limit what you can say.
I don't want anybody to be under a misunderstanding. Donald Trump never even said the word "assassination." That was the word used by Hillary Clinton in 2008, which CNN is calling a gaffe. (impression) "But Trump meant it! Yeah, Trump, he meant it." With Hillary, "It was a gaffe! We all know Hillary Clinton, and we all know Hillary Clinton didn't really mean what she said." Yeah, right. Double standards.
The Trump plan is a different plan. It's a you're fired plan. And there's two key elements to it. First, Donald Trump said wages are too high. And both Donald Trump and Mike Pence think we ought to eliminate the federal minimum wage.
We offer a better way for dealing with persistent poverty in this country. A way that shows poor Americans the world beyond liberal ware housing and check-writing into the life everyone can find with opportunity and independence. The happiness of using your gifts and the dignity of having a job. And you know what? None of this will happen under Hillary Clinton. Only with Donald Trump and Mike Pence do we have a chance at a better way.
Let me tell you what changed my mind: it was when Donald Trump picked Mike Pence to be his running mate. I was convinced that Donald Trump knew exactly what he was doing, and he knew that was rounded out the ticket in many ways.
For anyone who doesn't believe that Donald Trump is the best candidate to go head to head with Hillary Clinton in November, and that's about 70 percent of Republicans nationwide who don't think Donald Trump is the right guy, our [President's] campaign is the only campaign that has beaten Donald Trump and that can beat Donald Trump.
Here we have perhaps in Mike Pence someone uniquely capable of explaining [Donald] Trump and being Trump and explaining for people who Trump is and what he is. And defending against whatever predictable insults and assaults on Trump that [Tim] Kaine comes up with.
I love this. "Of course I trust the president." Two days ago, Nancy Pelosi hated Donald Trump! She's out there saying the most despicable, horrible things in the world about the guy. She trusts him now, and I'm sure you Trumpists think that's 'cause Trump is so clever and he makes everybody like him.
I don't think he has a real concept of reality. To stand by some of the things that Donald Trump has said and for Mike Pence to say he's a devout Christian man is completely contradictory.
The media theme was, "June is when you win the presidency," because that's what they thought Hillary [Clinton] was doing. Hillary was running ads condemning [Donald] Trump, characterizing Trump, marginalizing Trump.
Donald Trump picked a remarkably nice guy in Mike Pence.
You look at the states [Barack] Obama won and wonder, well, where would Hillary Clinton have a problem and where does Donald Trump have problems? And the truth is, Donald Trump is not showing strength in any of the big states that he would need in order to actually get to 270. And Hillary Clinton is showing herself to be remarkably stable in all the states that she needs.
I'll bet you there are a lot of Donald Trump people out there who say, "If he has to work with Democrats to get what he wants done, then so be it. Even when Trump did the first deal with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi on expanding the debt limit - and he talked about extending the debt limit forever 'cause it was such a good thing, Trump did." I had people saying, "You know what? I love it!" I'm talking about rock-ribbed, lifetime Republicans who said to me, "I love Trump sticking it to Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan, but I not sure I like it being done this way."
