I was such a dangerous hitter I even got intentional walks during batting practice.
My kids would watch from the window and wave to me during batting practice.

Teams can't prepare for me in batting practice. They can't find anyone who throws as slow as I do.
I rarely hit home runs in batting practice, and usually when I do feel that good, I'll have a bad game.
I go out there every day, take early batting practice, fly balls.
Practice, practice, practice in speaking before an audience will tend to remove all fear of audiences, just as practice in swimming will lead to confidence and facility in the water. You must learn to speak by speaking.
You throw batting practice, you warm up pitchers, you sit and cheer. You do whatever you have to do to stay on the team.
