A Quote by Ray Bradbury

I have a big box of autographs. I took photographs of me and Marlene Dietrich, me and Ida Lupino. I took pictures of Myrna Loy and Joel McCrea in front of the studios. I loved Hollywood. I have 500 autographs and 500 photographs I took.
There are people who want photographs and autographs when they meet me.
Things changed a little when I started taking photographs for magazines. I was afraid in the beginning. I thought, "Oh I can't do it, because I have never taken a photographs commercially for a magazine." But I wanted to learn so I started. But when I took models from agencies, I took beginners. I realised these worked as well as the photographs by themselves. There are a lot of photographers who feel the story is all in the photographs but I really believe in weaving in complementary words with the pictures.
It is the photographs that gives one the vivid realization of what actually took place. (On photographs from Abu Ghraib prison.)

The photographs don't arouse me. All I can think about is the hard work it took to make them.
All colors made me happy: even gray. My eyes were such that literally they Took photographs.
People who take photographs during their whole vacation won't remember their vacation. They'll only remember what photographs they took.
I took a chance, I took a shot And you may think I’m bullet-proof, but I’m not. You took a swing, I took it hard. And down here from the ground I see who you are
I didn't do well in high school, but I took photography, and I loved being able to capture moments. It led to more and more photography, and fashion was the angle into photography for me. It was incredible to see photographs by Irving Penn or Helmut Newton. I was really intrigued by that, and that's what led me to New York City.

Hollywood, for me, is the studios. It's a way to produce. It's a different way to make movies, and I never took part in that.
