Physics changes, but reality stays the same
When we look at an object in a different way our perception of it immediately changes. But reality always stays the same.
Old Newtonian physics claimed that things have an objective reality separate from our perception of them. Quantum physics, and particularly Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, reveal that, as our perception of an object changes, the object itself literally changes.
Everything changes in my life, and the world stays the same.
Music changes. Nothing stays the same. You just gotta be able to roll with the punches. When the music changes, it's not that you gotta change too - it's that you gotta be able to maintain and hold your ground.
When the weather changes and hurricanes hit, nobody believes that the laws of physics have changed. Similarly, I don't believe that when the stock market goes into terrible gyrations its rules have changed. It's the same stock market with the same mechanisms and the same people.
Love lasts because it changes and not because it stays the same and never faces any challenges.
Nothing stays the same, nothing remains static. Which way a thing changes depends on you.
No marriage stays in the same pattern forever. It is both the best feature of marriage and the worst, that it inevitably changes.
It would be most satisfactory if physics and psyche could be seen as complementary aspects of the same reality
You don't have to agree with me, but I think the heart of who we are stays pretty much the same," Hope said, "What changes is how those core traits manifest themselves over time.
It may just be that a true wake-up call creates a true shift in consciousness. My wake-up call left me no choice. I had to make dramatic changes. Sometimes changes just happen within you, it is the way you approach things. Everything else stays the same.
Quantum physics - the idea that there is more than one reality going on at the same time in the same place. We live in a concentric society, and we'll have to make our decisions, cake as pie, as pending resolve. It's really and truly - I don't know if "as" will count any longer.
Human nature stays the same, the one thing that stays constant, like death and taxes. And people still want good stories!
I did physics because of my love of nature. As a young student of science, I was taught that physics was the way to learn nature. So my travels through physics really are the same urges that make me travel through ecology.
I wanted to tell stories that moved. Nothing stays the same, and that's why photography is important. The world flickers and changes, and that's why video is important.
As long as 'Pearl Harbor' stays in the past, it's perfect; when it wretchedly changes gears in the late going, it becomes the wrong kind of same old story: Hollywood stupidity and callowness, writ large across the sky.
