I'm happy to see NXT grow. Everything they are doing, they are going in the right direction.
When I won the NXT women's title from Natalya at Full Sail, becoming the second-ever woman's champion for NXT, that's when I knew, 'Okay, I'm doing the right thing,' and that I could do this.
The very idea that you can pursue happiness, that you can deserve it, that you can demand it, that you have the right to be happy, is foolish. Nobody has the right to be happy. You can be happy, but there is nothing like a right about it. And if you think that it is your right you will go on missing, because you have started to look in the wrong direction from the very beginning.
With NXT there are always going to be a few people who are still developing because that's what NXT is, but that's really exciting because you get to see them thrown into the deep end.
I made the right decisions, I set everything on the right course, the reforms are going in the right direction.
I hate to say the future is with NXT, because it's now: they're global stars which you're going to see, the Shayna Baszlers, and then you're going to see the forever, the next generation of superstars of the people competing and the finals of the Mae Young Classic, and to me, that represents everything from the evolvement of Trish Stratus and Lita.
I have thought about Happy Days made into a movie. As far as the original cast not being a part of it, wow, I don't know who could be who! I just don't see it going in that direction. I can see the original cast doing the movie very easily though.

I think right now the way society's going, I think role models are important, and kids need direction. If I didn't have that direction growing up, who knows what I could be doing, because I've been lost many times in my life, and I've had to have someone guide me back on the right path.
You might be sitting at NXT for six years. But, if you're sitting there at NXT for six years, and they haven't called you to the main roster, then you're not doing something right. That's just my opinion.
My life has no purpose, no direction, no aim, no meaning, and yet I'm happy. I can't figure it out. What am I doing right?
Some things are not meant to be kept forever... You know you have to stop and let go when things aren't going right, and everything you do is unappreciated. Remember what batman said? 'it is wiser to be alone but happy... than with somebody who does nothing while you're doing everything...'
I also see an undercurrent - and perhaps the Indigo Children are another aspect of this â€" that's moving in the right direction that I thought was really predominant during the last 35 years since I started Noetics. So we do see quite a few people bucking the tides. At the moment, however, the political system, in my opinion, is going in the wrong direction.
I don't even think in the future, pay-per-view is going to exist. You see Netflix and Amazon and what they're doing, and that's a model I think is going to grow and grow.
It's really cool to see how many awesome, badass ladies are out there now just doing their thing and putting their foot down, saying, "Nope. You're not going to tell me I'm doing something women shouldn't be doing." It's a scary time but also I think a really important time. I'm happy to see how much girls are responding to a lot of the other powerful big boys swimming out there right now.
When I was in NXT, I was going after the NXT Women's Championship and it never happened, I would constantly check in on my perspective.
When others put you down for who you are or what you're doing, it just means that you're going in the right direction.
