A Quote by Robert Breault

You spend 90% of your adult life hoping for a long rest and the last 10% trying to convince the Lord that you're actually not that tired. — © Robert Breault
You spend 90% of your adult life hoping for a long rest and the last 10% trying to convince the Lord that you're actually not that tired.
You spend a good part of your adult life acquiring things: building a home, filling it with objects that please your eye and make you feel comfortable. Then you spend the last part of your life trying to figure out how to get rid of it all.
I'm not out there trying to get press for myself nor am I trying to convince anybody that I'm living any kind of a life. I'm actually trying to convince people: I don't want you to know what I'm living, because it's none of your business.
Personally I'm hoping to spend the last years of my life plugged into a real life MMORPG simulation that makes me think and feel like I'm 18 again while my 90 year old body lies in a tube somewhere getting fed thru an IV. Be a great way to finish up a life.
The saying is, life is short, but what if it's not? But if life is short, is this how you would like to spend your last days? And if life is long, is this how you want to spend 50, 60, or 70 years? Being ashamed? Being quiet? Hoping no one notices you? Not telling the truth? Walking around heavy? If I die in my sleep tonight, God forbid, I am happy with how I've lived my life. I've lived it truthfully.
I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you happy, and when you get tired of looking at me, I promise I’ll sing.
In life, never spend more than 10 percent of your time on the problem, and spend at least 90 percent of your time on the solution.
In physics, your solution should convince a reasonable person. In math, you have to convince a person who's trying to make trouble. Ultimately, in physics, you're hoping to convince Nature. And I've found Nature to be pretty reasonable.
You spend your whole life trying to get known and then you spend the rest of it hiding in the toilet.
Successful people spend 10% of their time focused on the problems and 90% of the rest, focused on the solution.
If you keep working you'll last longer. I'd hate to spend the rest of my life trying to outwit an 18-inch fish.
Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince a person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise. Give lifting that person your best shot, but don't hang around long enough for his/her bad attitude to pull you down. Instead, surround yourself with optimistic people.
Life is too short to spend your precious time trying to convince the person who wants to live in gloom and doom otherwise.
One of the things you'll discover... as you listen to your own soul is that you spend a great amount of your life trying to bring meaning to your own life. And, by the way, most people are not going to church, so the place they're actually trying to find meaning in their life is at work.
I can't spend the rest of my life competing for your attention and coming in last.
Childhood is what you spend the rest of your life trying to overcome.
If your Lord Supreme requests you to do something, rest assured he has already given you the capacity - even more than necessary - long before you actually need it.
