A Quote by Robert Plant

There's a constant conflict, really, within me. As much as I really enjoy what I do at home... I play on my own little soccer team and I've been taking part in the community and living the life of any ordinary guy, I always find myself wistful and enveloped in a feeling I can't really get out of my system.
It's always fun to play as part of a team and any other events that have that team aspect to it I always really enjoy.
I'm always open to anything. I haven't been that selective, I've just been fortunate to get projects I'm excited about. It's a little bizarre being a part of things that you really, really enjoy.
I don't know... part of, I suppose, my way out of everything, has been really taking care of myself. I think that comes from an awareness that my children really need me, and they need me to be the healthiest version of myself that I can possibly be.
You're investing in a different part of your life that is really important. It's not as important when you're a kid and you don't require sleep, and you don't get hung over, and you can fire on all cylinders. At 32 I don't consider myself old by any means, but you just find yourself in a place where you can't do everything the way you once did, and you have to take time to reflect and I think that's really important, because you get to appreciate what you have, and to enjoy it.
That's the main reason I took it up But I do feel I don’t know part of, I suppose, my way out of everything, has been really taking care of myself. I think that comes from an awareness that my children really need me, and they need me to be the healthiest version of myself that I can possibly be.
I like to discover little treasures in the cities we are in like a really amazing restaurant. I will go on my own and enjoy figuring out the ingredients as if I were making it at home, then I share my finds on my socials. I find that these little adventures bring me peace, because it is something I do when I am home.
I really like the director [for Weeds]. I don't know if you've spoken to him yet but he's really, really intelligent. He was just really kind when I met him and nice and really told me why I should play the part...and kind of really didn't argue with him. He's just really, really smart and assembled these really great people. I felt like he really knows how to enlist his intelligence to get you - I don't know - he's really hard to argue with I find.
I've always had a problem within myself of feeling that people didn't really see me as a musician and I'm out to get a bit of musical credibility.
I came out with a few plaudits, and I don't really enjoy that because I am a team player. I don't shout about myself, and I've always been team-orientated, so maybe that is why I have always slipped under the radar throughout my career.
I love the U.S.A. women's soccer team. I'm really a fan of them, how they play as a team, the spirit they have. They really motivate a lot of people.
I've never been from a certain group. I've always reserved a space for myself where I'm unattached to any group, but the part of Judaism that I really take away, that means something to me, is the part about community.
It's really hard, when you have a heavy workload, because it just really pulls you out of your life. It's nice to have some balance. I get to work and enjoy that part of me, but then I have time to have a life and be with my kids.
You can go out and find ways to make your own record and get it out there now. If you really want to, you can be heard. Keep things simple. Learn to go out and play solo. That's a really really good thing to learn, if you're a singer-songwriter. Don't be dependent on a band because you may not always be able to afford one.
I'm creating my own oasis in my house. I've got a lot of calming, soothing things around my house. The way it's set up, it's supposed to just be a breath of fresh air. I can find solace in painting and writing. I honestly love what I do, so it's not too much for me. Creating is something I've always been able to do, whether it's making little cartoons or writing a full-length script. It's something I really, really enjoy. I'm trying to make the best of what I've been given.
I'm not a huge social media kind of guy, so I don't really know, I don't really ever get... at least in real life, I really don't get recognized. I think people seem to find it very difficult to connect me to characters I've played.
The most exciting thing about being on the road is the constant go, go, go! I love it!! I really don't have a second to think and I think that is so much fun! There is always something to do, I'm being pushed and being challenged and I really enjoy that part of my life.
