You don't know who you will fall in love with. You just don't. You don't control it. Some people have certain things, like, 'That's what I'm going for,' and I have a subjective version of that. I don't pressure myself … If you fall in love with someone, you want to own them - but really, why would you want that? You want them to be what you love. I'm much too young to even have an answer for that question.
Prostitutes have feelings; they are very human. They hurt, bleed cry and laugh just like you and me. To the people that want to legalize prostitution: Let me ask you a question. If you want to legalize it, would you now let your daughter/niece/grand daughter/sister do this? Why not sign them up for what you want legalized? And if not, WHY not? Does it make them too human for you now?
I think we need to make documentaries about fantasy and storytelling. I think I just started to scratch the surface of a method that allows us to do that. We want to be sucked into the events, suspend our disbelief and imagine that this is a fiction, but actually putting onscreen the gap between who the people are and who they want to be and therefore opening the question about why they want to be this person.

I really think there's a difference between how men critics see things than how women tend to.
