The world domination plan goal is that I would love Veronica Mars to become a brand like Sherlock Holmes is a brand, like Nancy Drew, in a way, is a brand. When people start listing who are the great fictional detectives, I want Veronica Mars to make that list. That would be the dream scenario.
Having gotten TV shows on the air, that's so much less work that trying to get the 'Veronica Mars' movie made.
Trying to convince Warner Bros. to make a $30 million 'Veronica Mars' movie just wasn't going to happen, for understandable reasons.
Honestly, it's been amazing to be a part of this journey on 'Veronica Mars.'
I'm flattered if any movie role and my name are mentioned in the same sentence, because there haven't been a ton of them.
When Veronica Mars was canceled, the following season of pilots for The CW had been announced, and one was Gossip Girl. I read it, and I knew I was sort of old to play any of the kids. I called Dawn Ostroff -- who was the head of The CW at the time -- and said, 'Hey, I did so much narration on Veronica Mars, can I narrate this show? And she said, 'Hey, that's a very good idea.' They knew I had a younger voice, they liked me and they knew I'd show up for work, and I guess that was all I really needed. It was so clear to me how sassy and catty she needed to be.
Who doesn't love Veronica Mars?
I advise all my novel students to write in the company of 'Veronica Mars.'
I love 'Gossip Girl'! I still miss 'Veronica Mars,' though.
I started my career as a novelist. 'Veronica Mars' was first imagined as a novel.
The Movie is something that I made with some friends of mine in L.A. My friend, Luke Eberl, is the filmmaker. He shot this movie and asked a bunch of his friends to be involved with it. I just saw him the other day and there is no money to finish the film. But, you know, I literally have a cameo in it.

We have been given a role to play. We have been asked to provide, to give lectures on the role of Islamic development and the way we do it here, so the people who are Muslims there would understand what the role of Islam is.
I'm honestly flattered and humbled that anyone would show interest in something I've done, forever.
I'm so... Honestly, it's been amazing to be a part of this journey on 'Veronica Mars.' Because I started out, really, with a word on the show. So it's kind of fun to look back and be like, 'Wow, I was basically an extra,' but not really - I had a little part.
Honestly speaking, it's not easy to reprise someone else's role.
