Success is important only to the extent that it puts one in a position to do more things one likes to do. — © Sarah Caldwell
Success is important only to the extent that it puts one in a position to do more things one likes to do.
Achievement comes to someone when he is able to do great things for himself. Success comes when he empowers followers to do great things with him. Significance comes when he develops leaders to do great things for him. But a legacy is created only when a person puts his organization into the position to do great things without him.
Sometimes you can accept an important post, on condition that it really puts you in a position to help women. Unfortunately, women who have important posts very often adopt masculine standards-power, ambition, personal success - and cut themselves off from other women.
What is success? I think the most important thing is to achieve what you set out to achieve. Just being a CEO in itself is not success. I would not relate success to a title or a position. My career has had a level of serendipity all along. I've never planned anything out more than a few years.
The only reason I write is that I feel I have to. Being the creator of a project puts me in a much better position to do the things I want to do.

An actor basically likes to be asked to do something, no matter what position he's in. It feels more natural. Sitting and waiting is more gratifying.
As far as from a standpoint of success, the only person who is in a position to make a claim like that sort [for the 'King Of The South' title] would be Lil Wayne - as far as success from a numbers standpoint. As far as longevity and success, that's the only person I feel like can say that.
God puts us in position to do the things we need to, both on and off the track, to honor Him.
In Formula 1, the neck is really important. There's a lot of force that's going to your head. We also have a helmet and it's not that light. When it's all about g-force, all of that extra weight in the helmet compounds and puts more and more pressure. To be able to maintain your head in a straight position - especially around the corners and while braking - you need to have strong neck. To train that, it's difficult.
