I'm able to run and jump and do all the things I can do. I'm blessed. — © Scottie Pippen
I'm able to run and jump and do all the things I can do. I'm blessed.
The most difficult quality is to make the right decision. Because you can be quick, you can be strong, you can jump incredibly, you can have the best shots and you can be able to score goals from 50 yards, but if you don't know when to shoot, when to run or when to jump, you're lost.
I've been blessed with the athleticism that I've got. I've worked a little bit to try and fine-tune certain aspects - my pace, leap, timing - to make it work on the football pitch, but I always had it in my armoury being able to jump high. I was always good at long jump back in the day at school - nobody could ever beat me.
I think most people don't really understand all that it takes to stand on your toes, and to be able to jump and land without any noise, or for a male dancer to be able to lift a girl. I'm really, really blessed. Not only am I blessed to have found that I love making films, but I'm also insanely blessed to be able to do it. I have to remind myself that when I'm complaining.
When I was a kid, I would do stupid things on my bike. I'd jump any ramp, I'd jump over people, I'd jump over things - always crashing, never hurting myself badly but always wanting to take physical risks.
You have to try things! You have to jump off the edge and run through your fear.
I want to be thankful for all of the things that I've been blessed with, and I've had a great run. I have a huge fan base, and I'm still able to work a lot. I don't know if I'll ever have another big impact record on commercial radio again, but you know, everybody's gonna have to face the reality that their day's gonna come to an end, too.
Being a tight end, you have to be able to do everything. You have to be able to run routes; you have to be able to block, pass-protect, and run with the ball after a catch. So, that's how I attack my workouts - focusing on doing everything.
I don't need to be the fastest or be able to jump highest to be effective or do the right things to help the team.
Some public officials are blessed - you can't acquire this, but you are blessed with the gift of empathy, being able to empathize with those who are suffering.
I feel like I got a good jump on the ball. I turned my head and picked a spot out to run to. I was able to look back at the ball real quick again and it fell right into my glove.
I really feel blessed that I'm able to do what I love and make a living at it and have people come and see it. I mean, what an incredibly blessed life!
If people are able to run the affairs of a village well, eventually they'll be able to run a township, and a county.
