I'm from Jammu, and every time I go to there, I make it a point to stop by Delhi and meet up with my friends and, of course, eat the chaat here.
Whenever I am in Delhi, I must visit Nathu's for its chaat. I love shopping at Lajpat Nagar and Khan Market.
Eating is the hard part. It's constant - you don't ever stop from the time you wake up you eat until you go to bed. Then I wake up in the morning and the first thing I do is eat and do it all day again.
Being from Jammu, I always saw Delhi as this big city where everyone would want to be.
I'd eat, eat, eat, not exercise, go to sleep, eat and eat. I looked up in the mirror and said I had to make a change if I was going to continue to live.
It so happens that whenever I come to Delhi, my schedule is always packed. But sometimes, I call my friends to my hotel itself. And of course, I ask them to get the food I love. This way, I get to meet them and enjoy my favorite cuisines too.
I have a glass of hot water with honey and lime in it right after I wake up. I eat in small quantities every two hours and make it a point not to eat anything after 8 P.M. in the evening.
I make it a point to go home every weekend so I can meet with Georgians and hear from them directly.
India is calling Blood is calling to blood. Get up, we have no time to lose. Take up your arms ! we shall carve our way through the enemy's ranks, or if God wills, we shall die a martyr's death. And in our last sleep we shall kiss the road that will bring our Army to Delhi. The road to Delhi is the road to Freedom. Chalo Delhi (March to Delhi).
We live life in restaurants, its the center of social life, where we celebrate with family and friends, make new friends, travel without traveling, and of course, eat.
Here's an idea: eat like an adult. Stop eating fast food, stop eating kid's cereal, knock it off with all the sweets and comfort foods, and ease up on the snacking. And don't act like you don't know this: eat more vegetables and fruits. Really, how difficult is this? Stop with the whining. Stop with the excuses. Act like an adult and stop eating like a television commercial. Grow up.
I have a lot of friends here, and I love spending time with them, but Delhi's endless traffic jams make it very difficult to manage the plans.
Mary, you make me wanna eat you Every time I see you, it's like the first time I meet you Fragrance like a flower, subtle and sweet too Seductive and whatever, it might as well be see through.
When you eat, I want you to think of God, of the holiness of hands that feed us, of the provision we are given every time we eat. When you eat bread and you drink wine, I want you to think about the body and the blood every time, not just when the bread and wine show up in church, but when they show up anywhere- on a picnic table or a hardwood floor or a beach.
It wasn't me. I couldn't go on set every day, get my hair curled for hours and sit with all that make-up. It just didn't do it for me. I took a conscious decision to stop working in Bollywood movies at that time.
Every time we are faced with a choice, and we are faced with them every minute of every day, we make a decision to follow its course into the future. But what of the abandoned options? Are they like unopened doors? Do alternative futures lie beyond them? How far would we wander from the course we have steered were we to go back and, just once, open Door A instead of Door B?
I don't get time to hang out with my friends because every time I make a plan, my agent tells me I can't go. I'm used to it.
