A Quote by Shayna Baszler

Because I've been around the MMA block a little bit, I'm at a point now where I just want bodies to beat up. I'm past the point in my career where I'm picking and choosing.
Picking roles, my way of choosing them is vastly different now than it was a long time ago, but I can only be that way now because of what I've learned from the past. So I'm choosing now not to choose any work, because when you've had such a nice ride, unexpected rides and fulfilling rides, you really don't want to take a step backwards. It's really made me satisfied in a way that I wasn't looking for, but I was blessed with it and now I feel really full, in a good way, where I don't need to rush out and go find something.
It's been a long blessed career. I've been riddled with injuries the past two and a half years and haven't been able to quite compete as I'm accustomed to. At this point, I just really want to enjoy it and put it all on the line when I'm out there.
I have so many plans! Sometimes it's hard to keep up because at this point it's just been me and the little bit of help my label gives me.
When I head into the cage for an MMA fight, for that time inside the cage, I hate the person standing across the cage. I want to beat him up and beat him up to the point where he never wants to go against me again. After the fight, I can shake his hands, and he - we can be best friends. It's the same thing in professional wrestling.
The point is - that Donald Trump has been making on the campaign trail is that he's financing his own campaign. That's very important for him to say now in his mind because he wants people to know that he owes nobody anything other than the American people, or the voters who are picking, choosing his candidacy.
I think that my IQ level grew as a player. I think that I [run] the game a little bit better. I'm waiting for the game to come to me, and I'm picking and choosing my spots instead of just going out there and just doing whatever because I don't have to do that with this team?
At one point, I quit acting for a little bit to study psycholinguistics - somewhat a more practical career. It just didn't feel right.
I think, to Chelsea's [Handler] point, I still need directing because sometimes I go a little bit off beat in a way that it's like, rein it in. I welcome that kind of support.
The point guard is the most important position on the court. They often have to be the best player, not by choice but because that's what the game demands as far as all the thinking you have to do and picking and choosing when to score or pass, things like that.
When you have something on your mind that you really have coming out of your brain... just talking to the beat, it's pretty easy and it's a natural feeling and at this point in my career. That's what I'm going for, I just want things to be organic.
Little kids grow up discovering the world that's shown to them and then when you become a teenager, it kind of shrinks a little bit. I think when you get past that point, one of the important things is that you see there is more to the world than yourself.
The point is to change one's life. The point is not to give some vent to the emotions that have been destroying one; the point is so to act that one can master them now.
There might have been a point in my career where, because people have been telling me I'm an activist, I took on that label. But in retrospect, I don't think that's what I am - or what I've been - just because I'm vocal about my identity sometimes.
Typically in horror films the character just services the plot, and you really are just going from 'point a' to 'point b,' just so that you can end up at 'point c.' They are just sort of stick characters. That's just not interesting to me.
A lot of times in my career, I've been the end point, the termination point of a lot of plays, just scoring the ball.
Like any other boy in the world that does a little bit of rough-and-tumble and playing around when they're a kid, who doesn't want to be an action star at some point?
