I cherish that time we had together with Michael Jackson. It just makes me smile. It makes me happy and sad at the same time. Just sad because I'll never repeat it, but happy that I got to experience it in the first place.
If there's one kind of music that makes somebody happy, how is that a bad thing? And if there's another kind that makes somebody else happy, how is that a bad thing? I don't get why anybody cares about what they don't like so much.
Talking about someone who makes you happy actually makes you happy. Being happy makes you want to talk, to go over everything, to share it so you can remember it all over again.
Here's conventional wisdom: Success makes you happy. Happiness permits you to be generous. In fact, it actually works like this: Generosity makes you happy. Happy people are more likely to be successful.

No one should ever ask themselves that: why am I unhappy? The question carries within it the virus that will destroy everything. I knew it wouldn’t last for very long and I’d be sad again and then it would be worse because it’s one thing to be sad and it’s another thing to be sad once you’ve been happy. Being sad after you’ve been happy is the worst thing in the world.
If you're doing what you love, then that's what matters. I am happy, and I am happy where I am. If things go downhill, then I move on to the next, and that's what makes me happy.
We must spoil our women, boy. A happy woman makes a happy home. An unhappy one makes us drink.
Success isn't what makes you happy. It really isn't. Success is doing what makes you happy and doing good work and hopefully having a fruitful life. If I've felt like I've done good work, that makes me happy. The success part of it is all gravy.
