I've got quite a curvy shape so I try to wear stuff that's tailored.
I think it's hilarious when people call Jessica Alba or Eva Longoria curvy. Come on. They're not curvy. They're small. I'm curvy.
I'm quite curvy and I just try and exercise whenever I can. I don't do anything hardcore as I'm just not that dedicated.
While I'm quite happy and love doing the atmospheric and quirky stuff, the melodic stuff, I've done quite a lot of. It's also another reason why I try not to do two or three at the same time.
I'll see a beautiful dress in a shop, and then I'll put it on and it looks dreadful because I'm just too curvy. I have to choose carefully - I steer clear of high necks and go for tailored, fitted things.
You don't wear stuff for other people; you've got to wear it for yourself.
I like to keep a uniform - wear a blazer, try to keep the same colour pants; very tailored, very fitted but still edgy.
I got good at trying to throw a voice on a character from the very beginning as opposed to like reading it and sitting with it and mulling over it and stuff like that just try to read what it is and then try to put a funny voice to it like as soon as possible and stuff like that. Once you get laughs with your voice then you can start thinking about, you know the physical characteristics and how they might walk or if they stick out their buck teeth or if they wear an afro and stuff like that. I think like finding the voice of the character helps to like build the wardrobe and everything else.
I love the idea that you would wear vintage stuff with new stuff and wear stuff that's 5 years old.
Being a curvy girl, I've always, in the past, dressed just what's flattering rather than what I actually really want to wear. I'm trying to say that you can wear whatever you want.
I can't predict the future. All I can do is continue to try to stay in shape and work on my game and have a clear mind and not try to think about negative stuff.
Well-tailored clothes I can wear forever.
You're really spread out now, you've got stuff all over the WORLD! You've got stuff at home, stuff in storage, stuff in Honolulu, stuff in Maui, stuff in your pockets...supply lines are getting longer and harder to maintain.
The bruisers and the bump-and-grind guys, use your athleticism on the floor, try to wear them out - run them through a lot of pick-and-rolls, run the floor, do a lot more athletic stuff just to try to wear them down.
When I started out in fashion, everything had to be very structured and tight and controlling, and now I'm getting to a point where I think - I could wear a great big parka, that could be quite fabulous. I haven't always got to show off my size, show off my shape. It's a turning point for me.
I wear quite fitted clothing. I don't like wearing baggy stuff.
Beauty is not a size. You can be a size 2 and be curvy or you can be a size 24 and be curvy Curvy is being a woman.
