Stop eating 'dead' foods: junk, fried, and fast foods, as well as
processed carbs. They’re loaded with sugar and other additives.
The more live foods we eat (fruits and vegetables), the more alive
we feel. The more dead foods we eat...well, you get the idea.
I think it is important that we go and bring both of the parties together. The more we go to the left, the more we go to the right, I believe of what President Eisenhower said, "Politics is like the road. The left and the right represents the gutter, and the middle is drivable."
Honestly, some cases have been more famous than others - like Tot Mom, or Steven Avery, or Scott Peterson - but I would not characterize any one as being more special to me, more intriguing, or more important because that would be placing one victim as more important, or one defendant as more [notorious] than others, and I don't think that's right.
The real story in housing will be a recovery in the economy that will drive a recovery in housing, When people are working, when there are more jobs, more households forming and people go back to buying cars, they're going to want their apartments and homes. And that's when you'll start to see a recovery in home prices.
I am not interested in things getting better; what I want is more: more human beings, more dreams, more history, more consciousness, more suffering, more joy, more disease, more agony, more rapture, more evolution, more life.
I've worried more and more as the years have gone on. The more you're seen to be doing well, the more stress there is. You feel you ought to consider things more, and be more fussy - there's further to fall. All these little worries.
Manipulate your diet until you find something that works for you. And I think people get bogged down with trying to go to the gym and doing too much cardio and lifting too much weight. Really, if you're eating well and eating at the right times, and consuming the right things, it's really helpful. I do a lot of yoga. There's more and more guys getting into yoga these days, and I find that helps me as well.
Taking your first title is much more complicated and more difficult; it takes years of work - from go-kart to Formula One. The second comes more easily, because you've already got the experience.
Oftentimes, especially during my recovery, I didn't need to think about everything I was doing wrong; instead, I needed to focus more on what I was doing right-and then do more of the right stuff. I needed to live more in the solution.
London has changed enormously and so have the English in the past decade. They're more like Americans and more like Europeans, too. They're always eating out, and when they're at home they don't cook the way they did ten years ago. They're all sitting around in cafés, like the Continentals, drinking coffee and chattering and watching the world go by.
As I started eating more natural foods and thinking about what I was putting into my body, I became more interested in what I was putting on it, too.
I'm just trying to eat healthy. That's my biggest thing right now. Staying away from fried foods, eating more greens and grilled food, just keeping my body right.
What's more important than your nutrition? What's more important than workin' out? It begins with gettin' a good night's sleep.
Service is key. And as I have more on my plate, and I have more ambitions and more goals and things I want for myself, I'm realizing more and more how important it is to be a servant.
Smaller portions of good foods are more satisfying than larger portions of junk foods, especially if you pay attention to what you're eating.
The longer I work in nutrition, the more convinced I become that for the healthy person all foods should be delicious.
