I treat everyone how I would like to be treated, and I try to treat this industry and this job with the respect it deserves.
To me, it's about the Golden Rule, really at the end of the day. Treating people as you want to be treated. I just don't feel like it's that hard to do. It's not that much to ask of someone to treat everyone with the respect they would want to be treated with. No matter what you look like or where you're from.
Remember the Golden Rule? "Treat people as you would like to be treated." The best managers break the Golden Rule every day. They would say don't treat people as you would like to be treated. This presupposes that everyone breathes the same psychological oxygen as you. For example, if you are competitive, everyone must be similarly competitive. You want attention, you want support, you want to be treated properly, and I don't wanna have to go anywhere and teach people how to treat me.
My philosophy is to treat people how you want to be treated.
My friends at PeTA India and I encourage everyone to treat animals with kindness and respect, just as we all want to be treated every day.
If you treat animals how you want to be treated, you're a lot better off.
I do know how to treat people and that is treat them the way I want to be treated. So when I extend that respect and that consideration that I would like to have, there is a certain amount of reciprocating. Some of the senators have even said words to the effect to me of "I can't dislike you as much as I wish that I did".
Mind your own business and don't eat junk food. Treat everyone the way you want to be treated, work hard and love what you do.
At the end of the day we're humans. Treat others how you want to be treated or just be quiet.
A man needs to be polite, not just to me but to everyone. I watch that. How does he treat the waiter? How does he treat the coat-check girl? How does he treat the driver?
