My focus has been and will continue to be on doing my job. — © Ted Cruz
My focus has been and will continue to be on doing my job.
I was elected by the people of Australia as Prime Minister of Australia. I was elected to do a job, I intend to continue doing that job. I intend to continue doing it to the absolute best of my ability. Part of that job has been to steer this country through the worst economic crisis the world has seen in 75 years.
I don't focus on the scale. I focus on doing my job. The team staff and the program I've been working on, they've been touching on that, but I don't focus on the scale.

I think the greater danger is just the preoccupation of the policy community, and how much attention they pay to what the intelligence community is telling them.
I started out as a lawyer and came in laterally to Goldman Sachs. So I learned myself that life is unpredictable. That you really should, in terms of your career, try to be excellent at what you're doing. I think if you focus on your job, and you focus on being broad in the context of your job, the next jobs follow from that.
I've been so lucky to be able to go into such different worlds from my own, and that's what makes my job so fun. I just want to continue doing that.
The Saints are doing a good job adjusting. I think their focus is on trying to make the best of their season, but also to try and help the people of New Orleans in the process. From everything I've seen and heard they are doing a good job of it.
For me, my core focus has always been to help others so what drives me to keep doing this is the fact that I can continue to learn to coach others such as yourself. You might not be a fitness trainer, or maybe you are, but you need to find that CORE reason that will keep you going forever.

I try to focus on the next week and the next game every time, focus on what I'm doing right now and just to continue to improve every single day. If I do that, I should have a good future.
