I'm from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and my family is Punjabi.
Franco-Albertans have created a valuable legacy throughout the province. Our Government is pleased to support these projects, which showcase the thriving Francophone community in Calgary. We will continue to support our official languages and protect, celebrate, and strengthen Canada's linguistic duality.
I met Richard Pryor for the first time in Calgary, in Canada. A very quiet, modest meeting.
I wore No. 24 at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, Canada - one bib on the back and one on the front - and those are like my medals.
There's a huge Indian population here in Toronto. Also, Calgary, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Edmonton - Canada really is a great multicultural country.
This is my maiden voyage. My first speech since I was the president of the United States and I couldn't think of a better place to give it than Calgary, Canada.
We love touring. We love being in front of the fans.
Vancouver is a beautiful area, I don't care what time of the year you're there. Vancouver and Calgary. Great places in Canada.
Comic fans are some of the toughest fans to please, and I'm one of them.
Touring is a favorite part of what I do. I love connecting with the fans in that immediate way.
I think we have a little added appreciation for the Canadian fans, maybe because there's a lot of Canadians that want a Canadian band that seems to tour a lot more in the U.S. that are like, "Whatever. You guys don't care about us. You just turned your back." Our fans, the people that we hang with in Canada when we play, seem to be super-supportive still. We have a lot of love for that.
Montreal is my home town - I love it to death - but Toronto, I think, might have to be the best market in Canada. From a numbers perspective, it definitely is. The fans are incredible, and every time we go there, it sells out. It's awesome, and the fans are incredible.
People don't realize Canada has been very rough on the United States. Everyone thinks of Canada as being wonderful. And so do I. I love Canada. But they have outsmarted our politicians for many years, and you people understand that. So, we did institute a very big tariff on lumber.
I used to perform in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Cold Lake, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Camrose, Kamloops, Kelowna, Surrey, and all over Western Canada for Stampede Wrestling.
We are so lucky because all our fans from around the world are great. We love all our fans from everywhere, and they want us to visit them. We will try! They are really the best fans we could wish for.
