As a chef, I always have in mind how to properly feed the public, but at times it's easy to forget that some people have trouble even getting any food, much less adequate nutrition.
I was always looking to record, but how much I actually pursued it was another thing. The major labels weren't that interested in me, and the smaller labels didn't have any money to do anything.
People don't know how to reach record labels, and a lot of time labels don't listen to stuff that's sent in randomly.
Getting signed shouldn't be the point. I made that mistake early on and I think a lot of people do. It's not something you should rush into.
