A Quote by Trey Parker

Sometimes what's right isn't as important as what's profitable. — © Trey Parker
Sometimes what's right isn't as important as what's profitable.
I do not believe that the solution to our problem is simply to elect the right people. The important thing is to establish a political climate of opinion which will make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing. Unless it is politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing, the right people will not do the right thing either, or it they try, they will shortly be out of office.
It is more important to do what is strategically right than what is immediately profitable.
The music industry is up and down. Sometimes the people love you, and sometimes they don't. I wanted to be the owner of multiple businesses that were financially profitable and sustainable.
When you know what you like and what you want and you're able to nudge things in the right direction, that's more profitable than ever, because there's so much information out there. Everything's saturated. Tastemaker is probably the most overused word, but I still think it's important.
I believe the important part of directing really is finding the right people for the right roles. Sometimes you go for what's expected, and sometimes you go against type because you think that'll really bring something different to the movie.
In our perform agenda, segmentation is one of our key strategic priorities. Segmentation is about deploying the right go-to-market channel to the right customers with the right pricing and the right cost to serve. And as a result, the segmentation strategy ensures that we generate profitable growth.
So actually war is politically profitable, financially profitable, morally depraved.
We will still be enormously profitable and by far the most profitable enterprise software company.
All I've learned in today's Shakespeare class is: Sometimes you have to fall in love with the wrong person just so you can find the right person. A more useful lesson would've been: Sometimes the right person doesn't love you back. Or sometimes the right person is gay. Or sometimes you just aren't the right person. Thanks for nothing, Shakespeare.
Wrong turns are as important as right turns. More important, sometimes.
Sometimes you move publicly, sometimes privately. Sometimes quietly, sometimes at the top of your voice. And sometimes an active policy is best advanced by doing nothing until the right timeor never.
The truth we have to face about the world we live in is that it's driven by profit, and contradictions and doubts are not profitable. They yield wisdom, but wisdom is not profitable. I find pleasure in doubt, but let's face it, my pleasure is not very profitable. To me, the truth is that things mean many things at once, and all of them opposed to each other, and all of them true.
I think, in this country, we have a problem where we view the arts as charity, and therefore, it has no value. Things in America that have value are profitable, and unless you are profitable, we don't know where to put you.
We'll continue to take the right actions to make sure we're a profitable business.
And the simple people are trash. A herd of sheep that are good for shearing, but sometimes it's more profitable to slaughter them.
When you're finished, bars are not inherently profitable. You got to work at them to make them profitable.
