Bombay feels like a second home now. I have adapted to the lifestyle of the city.
Initially, I was scared of living alone in a big city like Mumbai, which is nothing like Bangalore. I'm more comfortable now; it feels like a home away from home.
Look at New York and the number of crimes out there. Every big city has crime. Bombay is the biggest city of India. So, naturally, all crimes in Bombay get banner headlines.
Bombay as a confident, welcoming city that takes in a million new people a year, that those who want to harm the country pick Bombay. Other Indian cities, such as Delhi and Varanasi, have also been bombed recently, but Bombay's significance as the financial capital of the country means that it's the best target for terrorists who're unhappy with India's progress.
One thing about Los Angeles is it feels like it's not new. It feels like it's already been built, and it's deteriorating, except for the places they're trying to make nicer. But in general, you drive all through the city, and the city feels like it was new a long time ago.
Wimbledon feels like my second home.
England is my home. London is my home. New York feels like, if I have to spend a year living in an unfamiliar city, this is a pretty lovely one to spend a year in, but I will be going home at the end of it, certainly.
I love this city. Whenever I'm in Manchester, it feels like home.
I visit Gujarat quite regularly - it feels like a second home.
Bombay is far ahead of Bengal in the matter of female education. I have visited some of the best schools in Bengal and Bombay, and I can say from my own experience that there are a larger number of girls receiving public education in Bombay than in Bengal; but while Bengal has not come up to Bombay as far as regarded extent of education, Bengal is not behind Bombay in the matter of solidarity and depth.
I think I get it now. It doesn't matter how nice home is--it just matters that it feels like home.
Los Angeles is much like Mumbai, the film industry rules the city over most other professions, so it feels like home.
I found Bombay and opium, the drug and the city, the city of opium and the drug Bombay
Raleigh feels like home. It has before I even moved here. During the late '90s I just fell in love with this city.
N.Y. is like second home to me. I love that city. I have lived there for a couple of years and it's always a pleasure to go back there.
When I go home, the first thing I do is wash the dishes. It feels real and it feels like home and it's humbling, it's something you don't do when you're living in a hotel, everyone cleaning up after you.
I like how my body feels when I'm in shape; I love how it feels after I work out each day. Fitting in the clothes I like to wear comfortably and living a healthy lifestyle is important to me.
