A Quote by Tulsi Kumar

There are a lot of talented Punjabi singers in Bollywood and we are also using a lot of Punjabi songs and reprise versions of these songs in our films and I have also sung quite a few of them.
Also, the times have changed, the Punjabi cinema is growing. Movies and songs are being made in such a manner that even a non-Punjabi can relate to them.
I feel Urdu and Punjabi are quite similar and therefore, I mostly make my songs in Punjabi.
I am glad to see the people grooving to and loving the Punjabi tunes. I also personally feel that Punjabi songs have a different vibe and energy, which helps in lifting one's mood completely.
Punjabi songs and Babu Mann tops my playlist. I also listen to a lot of English music although I don't understand a single word. If the music is good, I am fine.
We are not only having a great audience for Punjabi films in north India but we are also seeing growth in other places like Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Indore, etc. And the overseas audiences have always been good for us. Without them we couldn't have taken Punjabi cinema to such heights.
Punjabi songs have been a rage in Bollywood since a very long time. The lyrics' beat and the meaning behind them give an emotional touch to their lives and connects with youth.
It's the Punjabi film industry that sustained me and my family for eight years. It is because of my work in Punjabi films that I was able to survive.
Punjabi film industry is not yet ready to give change to new actors, but if Punjabi singers, who already have a fan following, enter the industry, it will be a great help to uplift the industry.
We, as a band, are going to try to do a remix pack for some of our latest songs and do as much as we can. Every single that we release gets that. That's the thing that we enjoy. You meet a lot of talented producers and DJs, you revisit friends and ask them if they want to do a remix, that's one of the beauties in it right now: hearing different versions of our versions and just being able to put those out, as well.
I have worked in Punjabi films and now it's time to rock Bollywood.
I love music, and can dance on the desi beats. Punjabi music is my favourite. I listen to artists like Honey Singh. I love his music. I also love watching Bollywood films.
Haryanvi songs are a rage in Bollywood, and some talented singers hail from Rohtak, Kurukshetra etc.
I work hard at that, but the fact that there are a lot of good songs means there are also a lot of really bad songs I've written that you never hear.
Only the Punjabi music industry has stood the test of time. Bollywood has finished the regional music industry of other languages, but the Punjabi music scene is still flourishing.
We are trying our best to spread the culture of Punjabi music all over the world. With the traditional rigid Punjabi music, people always had a myth that the music is very conventional, but nowadays, we are really thrilled to see how people are loving the tunes and beats of Punjabi music.
All this while when I was not seen in Hindi films, I did a lot of regional cinema. I was a part of various Gujarati, Punjabi and Bhojpuri films.
