I don't think I am one of the fashionable actresses in Bollywood but I know what suits me and my body type.
I am greedy for both Hollywood and Bollywood. For me, Bollywood is not new, as it is something that I grow up on... I know the plot... stories and characters that are written and made. I haven't got the right opportunity to show my work in Bollywood.
I think it's important to find a line that suits your body, your body type, that you're comfortable in.
I am not a part of Bollywood. Nobody cares about me in Bollywood and I have mentally resigned from Bollywood long ago. I am an independent filmmaker.
I enjoy the sari. I think it's the sexiest garment ever. It shows you the right amount, it covers the right amount, it's extremely versatile, it suits every body type, it suits every face.
I don't follow any trends but I try and wear what suits me and my body type.
I don't think every actress in Bollywood has been associated with Lux. A select few actresses, who they felt suited the brand right (have been associated with it) and they all have been actresses of great stature with wonderful careers and some wonderful work. I am very honoured to join the group of people who have been with Lux over the years.
To be successful in Bollywood, one needs a certain body type.
I opt for clothes that complement my body type. I am not someone who will go for something just because it is trendy and not look good on me. I would choose clothes which are comfortable and accentuate my body type.
No, I don't think I have the same body type as the other models in shows. No, I don't think I am the best at any given show. Yes, I want a unique walk, but I also know I have to improve.
I want to thank Bollywood for accepting me and loving me the way I am and my songs. Bollywood has given me the reach.
I used to think that Bollywood is a place where actresses are required to expose. I didn't want to act in films.
I don't think I'm very fashionable. I drink a fair amount of Barry's Tea, from Cork - but might that be fashionable? I don't know.
Be comfortable; be you. What's most important is to understand what suits your body type and personality. Stick to that, and you can't go wrong!
When I think of Bollywood dance, I think of choreographies from the '70s and '80s. That was true Bollywood, what is now known as old school Bollywood.
My style very much leans towards the masculine, but I think I am feminine in it - I like the feminine body in masculine shapes. The androgynous look suits me.
Honestly, I was always very keen on acting in the South Indian films. I think people here have a notion that Bollywood actresses aren't keen on doing films here but let me tell you, we are.
