I still don't know how to jump-start a car, even though it's been told to me a million times. But I do love thinking about how creativity works.
The best way to make change is to know how something works. If you're going to go build something or change whatever it is, if you don't know how it works and you're trying to go make a change in it, the first thing you're doing is you're spending time figuring out how it works. The same thing happens in organizations.
Making movie you just think, well, you know what you're gonna do, and you just when it comes down to the very specifics of it, you kind of have to rely on your mode of panic, and how well your imagination and creativity and all that works when you're in that moment. That's how you want to sound in those final sentences: the degree that it is uplifting or not, the degree that it is melancholic or not.
