He was fond of books, for they are cool and sure friends
I was always fond of books right since my childhood days. Even as a teenager, books were my company. Not that I did not have friends, but books kept my occupied most of the time.
Can we really be friends with those who don't love the books that we do? Of course we can, but can we really be friends with those who don't love any books? I'm not so sure of that.

We want to make sure children aren't left without any books. We want to make sure our children have the books, that they have a place in the castle. We want to make sure that their mothers have affordable day care. We want to make sure we give the older people the care that they need.
I always sort of liked Mesa/Boogies, but I wasn't sure if they were cool or not cool.
It's healthy to have older friends. You go, 'Look, I'm younger than them!' That's always the nice thing, if you can be the youngest one in the room at times. Like if you're always the oldest one in the room, you'll start to feel like the oldest person in the world. So get older friends, because they're cool. Get cool older friends.
My older brother was cool, so I was suddenly cool by association. And I totally dusted all my old math friends.
She is too fond of books, and it has turned her brain.
I'm cool under pressure. Cool as a cucumber, actually, eerily so. My friends and family comment on it. I think I get it from my father, the quintessential smooth operator.
Fond pride of dress is sure a very curse
