Be nice to me or you won't get a future XFL franchise.
When Paul Heyman came and gave me the whole idea for the character, 'The Franchise,' I remember the NFL was just starting to classify one of their players as the franchise player. So that was the whole idea, that 'The Franchise' was the franchise player for ECW.
From Software believes all the things we have learned in the past titles can be best reflected in the future only by starting work on a new franchise or series. That's the philosophy behind us trying to make a decision about leaving the 'Dark Souls' franchise.
From a young age, people have been touting me as a future world champion and it's nice to get that out of the way.
And now life has become the future. Every moment of your life is lived for the future-you go to high school so you can go to college so you can get a good job so you can get nice house.
And now life has become the future. Every moment of your life is lived for the future—you go to high school so you can go to college so you can get a good job so you can get a nice house so you can afford to send your kids to college so they can get a good job so they can get a nice house so they can afford to send their kids to college.
I want to be the future of a franchise.
After the first one [Twilight], people started referring to it as a franchise, but a franchise is a Burger King or a Subway. It's not a movie. The people who start to say it are generally the people who are making money off of it. They love it when something becomes a franchise. But, as an actor, I think it's scary.
'Housefull' was an enjoyable film, and I thought it would be nice to be part of the franchise.
The media has been nice to me so far, but if I get compared to Channing one more time... I'm taking it as a compliment, but it is crazy how many times people have compared me to him. I don't know if 'Magic Mike' is in my future, but we'll see.

I've seen stuff that says be nice and I think: you're not showing me anything. You're telling me, like a Hallmark card: be nice, nice to be nice, innit?
I think what kind of destroyed the franchise, in some ways, was ego and vanity. When that element of ego and vanity that's sitting there in the franchise right now gets pushed aside, I think the whole thing could be re-tooled. I think it's the type of franchise that has years in it, and has lots of legs.
For me, I love exploring ideas and throwing stuff against the wall and seeing what fits, and if I had a really nice collaborative team around me who could deal with the more day-to-day minutia, that would be fun. And directing sometime in the future and writing... yeah, I can see that all in my future. But I can be incredibly lazy.
I was late to the franchise; 'Days of Future Past' was the first X-Men movie I saw.
When you inherit a franchise that won one playoff game in the last 10 years, you've inherited a troubled franchise.
I have a nice house, nice cars, nice watches, nice things. I've got money in the bank. I'm not in need of a few quid - as it stands. It's all irrelevant to me.
