Do not wallow in your failure. Spend some time grieving, learn from it, and then move on. Constantly replaying what went wrong will not benefit you. Get involved in another company, another cause, another relationship.
I always think you've just got to move on. If you keep wallowing in the thing that you've done for a while you get a bit stale.
You can allow yourself 72 hours of wallowing time. Then you've got to get into the gym, stop eating the ice cream and move on.
If I spend all my time being upset about having lost a job, then the next however many auditions I have are going to be useless.
