If you have achieved any level of success, then pour it into someone else. Success is not success without a successor.
Monetary success is not success. Career success is not success. Life, someone that loves you, giving to others, doing something that makes you feel complete and full. That is success. And it isn't dependent on anyone else.
Success is not a pie with a limited number of pieces. The success of others has very little bearing on your success. You and everyone you know can become successful without anyone suffering setbacks, harm, or downturns.
Our world is obsessed with success. But how does God define success? Success in God's eyes is faithfulness to His calling.
Success, in my view, is the willingness to strive for something you really want. The person not reaching the top is no less a success than the one who achieved it, if they both sweated blood, sweat and tears and overcame obstacles and fears. Plans are one thing and fate another. When they coincide, success results. Yet success mustn't be considered the absolute. It is questionable, for that matter, whether success is an adequate resposne to life. Success can eliminate as many options as failure.
Success is not achieved by winning all the time. Real success comes when we rise after we fall.
Many people dream of success. To me, success can only be achieved through repeated failure and introspection.
