Everything from the logo to the products and different looks that you see, has been put together with so much detail. There is no way I wouldn't be completely involved. It's very important for me that I give my whole to everything that I am involved in. Otherwise, what is the point?
With everything I do, I'm 100 percent involved. I don't really let anyone just take over and hear what's going to go on. I like to have full creative control, pretty much, and really be involved with everything.
Everything was always a pretty up and down for me. It's always been an uphill battle as far as getting respect goes.
I was involved with MySpace and Facebook and everything at a very young age because it's so casual now, and I'm into texting, obviously. But I've never been involved in any type of chat room. My parents are pretty cautious about it and know all my passwords and know who my friends are and who I'm talking to.
Pretty much my whole career, I have been aggressive. I have always been a guy that goes at pins. That's kind of the way I've been all my career, and I don't know, really, if I can change.
I'm pretty much an open book. I've pretty much talked about anything I'm going through onstage. Between interviews and curious fans, I've been asked everything. And I always give answers. I don't shy away from anything.
I've been very careful. I've gone through pretty much everything. I'm very careful not to let go of the prized possessions, or too much of it that I'll regret in the future.
I think I have an addiction to pretty much everything. I mean, I have to be very careful with myself as far as that goes, which is why I have a support group around me consistently.
I've been really very fortunate with the men I've been involved with. They've always really treated me very, very wonderfully. And whenever anything broke up, I was always the one to leave. So I think I've been really very, very lucky.
I'm pretty involved in everything I do, which isn't always efficient and doesn't necessarily make for the more successful product. But I do feel that, in that sense, everything I do has a comprehensiveness to it.
I had been in Russia for five years and had a pretty successful run, and I just kind of wanted a change. I wanted to see different things. They're pretty equal leagues, but there was less travel involved in Turkey.
Jack Kennedy always said to me, Hedy, get involved. That's the secret of life. Try everything. Join everything. Meet everybody.
I'm very particular about everything. That goes along with the artwork, and how it's laid out, and every lyric. So it's pretty much all in my hands, which is crazy to be touring and doing that at the same time.
I was very much a tomboy. I've always been rather outspoken, headstrong, and I'm pretty much that way to this day.
The most basic organizing principle was pretty straightforward, and is frankly pretty common: the shorter of what are by my lights the two most engaging stories goes first, the longer of the two goes at the end, and everything else goes in the middle.
Growing up with brothers, I've always been a very competitive person and also very involved in sports. So when I was younger, whatever sport I was involved in, I wanted to go to the Olympics for that!
