What better way to connect with people than by staring and talking straight at them? Don't blink - that's one less connection you could have made. — © Ze Frank
What better way to connect with people than by staring and talking straight at them? Don't blink - that's one less connection you could have made.
I like to connect with people and suss them out. There's no better way than seeing how they react if you just bear into them.
My dream is that people will find a way back home, into their bodies, to connect with the earth, to connect with each other, to connect with the poor, to connect with the broken, to connect with the needy, to connect with people calling out all around us, to connect with the beauty, poetry, the wildness.
For me, it is especially important to maintain my interior life. My spirituality, my connectedness. That is the way I think. That is the way I deal with life and tough moments. I keep in touch with something bigger than me. And I connect with people who have an interior life - a connection with something bigger than them.
You have to prove that the Freberg way will sell their product better than if they just did straight advertising. Whenever I give a lecture or seminar, that's what I try to get across to people. I hear very few radio commercials that sound like I could have written them or that they got the idea.
You know I think so many of us live outside our bodies. My dream is that people will find a way back home, into their bodies, to connect with the earth, to connect with each other, to connect with the poor, to connect with the broken, to connect with the needy, to connect with people calling out all around us, to connect with the beauty, poetry, the wildness.

They could spend all their time making the greatest dress in the world, and it's just impossible to hand-make that many.
She can't just be a face, a body; there has to be more than that, some kind of connection. And I can't connect, don't want to connect, with anyone.
I could care less about the radio or the TV or album sales. I want that connection with people because when I'm able to walk down the street, I want them to feel like I've done something for them and helped their life because I've never felt that way about a musician.
We live less than the time it takes to blink an eye, if we measure our lives against eternity. So it may be asked what value is there to a human life. There is so much pain in the world. What does it mean to have to suffer so much, if our lives are nothing more than the blink of an eye?...I learned a long time ago, Reuven, that a blink of an eye in itself is nothing; but the eye that blinks, that is something.
I think in this country [UK] we could do with rather less political correctness and more straight talking across the board.
Social media seemed to promise a way to better connect with people; instead, it seems to have made it easier to tune out the people we don't agree with.
There is a path toward the light. The one that goes blink, blink, blink inside your chest when you know what you're doing is right. Listen to it. Trust it. Let it make you stronger than you are.
We are less lonely when we connect. Art is connection.
There's a common personality type to software developers - one I certainly fall into. We're more comfortable staring at a screen than staring into someone's eyes. Engineers can be brilliant in the workplace, and something less-than-brilliant everywhere else.
I now hate actors that blink too much on screen. When people blink, I turn the movie off. So I don't blink at all.
The Doctor: Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink.
