That most of you say you want to be successful, but you don't want it bad. You just kinda want it. You don't want it badder than you wanna party. You don't want it as much as you want to be cool. Most of you don't want success as much as you want to sleep!
You want to be the best at your career, you want to be the best mum, a great wife and all of that. Most of the time, it's not possible. You have to compromise somewhere.
Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often.
Millennials want to find meaning in their work, and they want to make a difference. They want to be listened to. They want you to understand that they fuse life and work. They want to have a say about how they do their work. They want to be rewarded. They want to be recognized. They want a good relationship with their boss. They want to learn. But most of all, they want to succeed. They want to have fun!

If you want to do anything, do it now, without compromise or concession, because you have only one life.
I'll admit, sometimes I've paid the bills with acting. You know the phrase, 'It's one for the money, two for the showreel.' I don't want that as a director. I don't want to compromise myself. There's a big old wide world out there. I want to explore it.
You want a career? Do that first. You don't want to have kids? Then don't. You don't want to get married? Then don't. But once you do something, you've got to know that there is compromise.
You don't have time, Len. That is the most bitter and the most beautiful pieve of advice I can offer. If you don't have what you want now, you don't have what you want. -pg276
The best advice I could give is be yourself. Before I was on the American Idol show I made goals for myself. I said, "Who do I want to be, and what will I compromise, or won't I compromise?" And then, I stuck with that.
I want adventure in my life. I want to do things I haven't done before. These Hollywood people are so careful of their image and looking right, but there's a wildness when I come into the photographs. I just want to wade through rivers, climb mountains.
We don't plan to be good or bad. We just think, 'What do I want now? I want coffee now. I want the paper now.'
