Thrift shopping is all about going into the thrift shop and having no expectation of what you might find.
The other week I wrote a piece on a photograph I got at a flea market, and I got about 70 hits. I think a lot of people must be interested in flea markets.
I am not sure how much I would like being married if I wasn't married to him. A man who likes flea markets and isn't gay? I knew I was lucky.
I pretty much just train... and go to church on Sundays.
I don't really shop unless it's thrift.
I'm not a vintage/thrift shop girl. I don't have the patience.
I shop at thrift shops probably five times a week.
Nowadays, you don't need to live in a fashion capital of the world, have lots of money, or be able to shop during certain hours. With online retail, it's possible to browse and shop for fashion anytime of the day, from pretty much anywhere.
I eat porridge all week, but Sundays are for something more exciting. I make a mean fry-up - to be honest that's pretty much all I can cook.
There's no reason anybody should be reading too much into 'Thrift Shop.' I just have because I have a 10-year-old and a 7-year-old who are really into going to lyric websites, hitting print, and printing lyrics for every song that's popular.
But we used to go to flea markets and things, and look for old 78 records that had silly song titles.
I'm in the Apple store on Regent Street far too much; I'm obsessed by whatever the latest Apple gadget is. For clothes, I love to shop in Liam Gallagher's shop Pretty Green on Carnaby Street, or Cult Clothing in Crouch End, for Original Penguin and G-Star.
I am a flea market junkie! Every city I go to, I'll be sure to look up when and where the biggest and best markets are nearby.
I don't shop just high-end, honestly. I shop at Zara, I shop at Topshop, I shop at H&M. I shop everywhere.
I shop at thrift stores and consignment shoppes. I wear my clothes as is, and maybe get them dry cleaned whenever possible.
