A lot of people say I've missed out on a lot because I started acting at such a young age. What's so obvious to me is that I actually was really lucky. I gained a lot and I got a head start in what I wanted to do in life. A lot of people in their late 20s, early 30s are just beginning to figure out where they want to go.
I think a lot of people try to edit themselves out and I think that's a big mistake, because the person being interviewed is responding to a person, and if you don't know who that person is then you don't really know what's going on with the person being interviewed.

It seems like everything is so polarized. You get the caricatures of people, the caricatures of their beliefs. "I hate this kind of person" or "I love this kind of person." But actually, there's a lot of great things about them. There are things to like. There's possibility of change.
