A Quote by Isaac Bashevis Singer

The more you see what other people do, the more you learn about yourself. — © Isaac Bashevis Singer
The more you see what other people do, the more you learn about yourself.
In the real estate business you learn more about people, and you learn more about community issues, you learn more about life, you learn more about the impact of government, probably than any other profession that I know of.
Charisma seems to be more about the intoxicating quality that you have on other people, as opposed to presence, which is more about the self in relation to others, and how you feel you represented yourself in a situation, and how you were able to engage. So it's less about how others see you and more about how you see yourself.
You can live a lifetime and, at the end of it, know more about other people than you know about yourself. You learn to watch other people, but you never watch yourself because you strive against loneliness. If you read a book, or shuffle a deck of cards, or care for a dog, you are avoiding yourself. The abhorrence of loneliness is as natural as wanting to live at all. If it were otherwise, men would never have bothered to make an alphabet, nor to have fashioned words out of what were only animal sounds, nor to have crossed continents - each man to see what the other looked like.
I believe more and more that this business is about people. People, people. The idea is to make friends at the retail level, the warehouse level, let people see you exist, can form sentences and have an interest in something other than yourself.
A good book can teach you about the world and about yourself. You learn more than how to read better; you also learn more about life. You become wiser.
Learn more about yourself! Make a self-esteem collage using pictures of other people you wish you were.
I think the more cricket you play, the more you will learn about yourself and learn about life in general.
As I learn more about myself, I think people learn more about me as well. It seems to correlate that way. I learn how to represent myself more as it goes on.
As we disagree with each other, we learn more about each other, and more and more people are coming together.
Shatter the glass. In our society that is so self-absorbed, begin to look less at yourself and more at each other. Learn more about the face of your neighbor and less about your own.
When you go on tour, you get so pumped up to make more music, learn more about yourself, and grow more musically. It always happens.
The more you try to be interested in other people, the more you find out about yourself
The more you can be self-aware and honest about yourself, the more you can cultivate that in other people.
If we took the time to learn more about different places and people, perhaps we would have more empathy for each other.
I think the older you get, the more you know about life, and the more you learn about yourself and you become comfortable in your own skin. So the older I'm getting, the more fun I'm having.
The more people know, the more people share. The more people improve the quality of their lives, the more they'll talk to other people about it, and then they'll help each other.
