A Quote by Lois McMaster Bujold

I am who I choose to be. I have always been what I chose, though not always what I pleased. — © Lois McMaster Bujold
I am who I choose to be. I have always been what I chose, though not always what I pleased.
I am pleased though that there's a possibility of a diplomatic solution [in Syria]. I remain somewhat skeptical, but I am pleased that it's a possibility and I think people like myself who've been arguing for delaying this bombing, have allowed this diplomatic possibility to occur.
Some decisions are hard, some are easy, but either way it's our choices that matter. Who we chose to align with. What we choose to give in to. What we choose to resist. And most of all, who we choose to be. Because it is always our choice.
Politically, the weakness of the argument has always been that those who choose the lesser evil forget very quickly that they chose evil.
I've always had a sense of responsibility, whether I've been captain or not. But I must say that I'm both pleased and proud to be Portugal captain, despite how young I am, because I know what it means. My job is still the same though. I need to do what I do best out on the pitch, and that's score goals and help my team win.
I don't love everything I do, and I don't always like how I am in it. I'm not always pleased.
I had no aspirations to become a landscape photographer at all. In fact it was portraiture that was my beginning, I suppose. I have always been a very keen walker, though, and I often took a camera with me on my walks. But I was, and still am, an avid reader and so when I first started I chose to photograph many of the great writers in this country to try and earn a living.
I've learned that success comes in a very prickly package. Whether you choose to accept it or not is up to you. It's what you choose to do with it, the people you choose to surround yourself with. Always choose people that are better than you. Always choose people that challenge you and are smarter than you. Always be the student. Once you find yourself to be the teacher, you've lost it.
I chose to dive into a pool of cold water in 'Ooty' though the director suggested that we use a stuntman. I was pleased with the applause but I took precautions.
Even though I only just found out that I was adopted, God has always known, and he has always loved me. And since that has never changed, therefore nothing has essentially changed. I may not be who I thought I was, but I still am who he says I am. I am more. I am loved. I am his.
I've always said that wherever I have played, I've always respected that jersey, and I've always defended it as though I had been a supporter of the team all my life.
Whether your life is happy or not is your own choice. Many people think I can't live a normal life because I don't have arms or legs. I could choose to believe that and give up trying. I could stay at home and wait for others to take care of me. Instead, I choose to believe that I can do anything, and I always try to do things my own way. I choose to be happy. I am happy because I am always thankful.
I've always been kind of picky because I've always been interested in lots of different things. I chose to take three years off and go to school, and that helped keep me sane. Hollywood can make you crazy, if all you're thinking about is your next job.
I've always been selective about materials I choose anyways. The incoming calls haven't been projects that I necessarily want to do. Now I can always be called "Emmy winner Regina King."
I am always pleased to be asked to write a poem.
I can always choose, but I ought to know that if I do not choose, I am still choosing.
If everyone chose love, this world would be magnificent. Always choose love.
