Everyone I know is fervently proud to be Welsh but you try not to be preachy about it. It's difficult at times. But when I go home to north Wales, or to somewhere I've never been in south Wales, I still feel at home because I'm in Wales. It's hard to explain.
New Yorkers aren't that friendly, but they're still pretty friendly, and they're hardworking, passionate people.
I've always felt very proud of Wales and being Welsh. People are a bit surprised when I say I'm Welsh. I was born in Wales, went to school in Wales and my mother was Welsh. I'm Welsh. It's my place of birth, my country.
I've always been very attentive to detail. It's a characteristic that drives some people crazy. But on the other hand, when people around me are sloppy, that drives me crazy.
Typically, we're on the road from Friday or Saturday until Wednesday morning. Sometimes, the drives aren't too bad. Sometimes, they're around a hundred miles, and then sometimes, they're right at 300, so that can be exhausting.
From the big mountains in the north to the valleys in the south, all through my childhood and teenage years, my family would always holiday in Wales.
I'm addicted to Jack's Wife Freda, a South African - Jewish-inspired restaurant founded by my brother Dean and his amazing wife, Maya. The vibe is cool and relaxed, perfect for a daytime bite or a nightcap. I always get the Peri-Peri chicken and the kale Greek salad, but all the food is delicious. You simply cannot go wrong!
If I had to pick one tribe to go back and live with permanently - and I hate doing this, it's not a contest - it would be the people of Anuta, in the South Pacific. It's got white beaches, blue seas, good food and gentle, friendly people who have a wonderful philosophy of sharing. And it's warm.
I have got to say, I'm a businessman, I work in business, worked with some very large corporations around the world, and I have never seen a better operating machine than what the New South Wales right machine is.
I go back to the parallels with 1963, 1964 when white America really became aware of the brutality of segregation, the cruelty of the apartheid system which existed in the south. Then white people began to get on the freedom buses and travel to the south and be part of the voter registration drives and they... some of them were beaten and some of them were murdered but they stood with the African-American community and the civil rights movement. It's time for straight people to do that today and it is time for gay people to insist that they do that today.
Provence, just one relatively small part of France, is almost twice the size of Wales, with double the population. It's a region of the south that stretches from the borders of Monaco and Italy in the east to Hyeres in the west, the Alps in the north to the sparkling Mediterranean in the south.
The people I grew up around, almost all of them had been born and raised in the South. And, you know, they didn't always go to church, but they lived their lives as if God were watching everything they did.
I'm a passionate entrepreneur. I'm like fire and brimstone sometimes. And so there are times when I'll go - I'll get too into the weeds and too into the debate, because I'm so passionate about it.
Whenever I have an opportunity, I catch a train and go to Wales and hire a car and drive around.
South Wales is a hub of aviation.
Some things just strike me as funny. The way things play out just makes me laugh sometimes. It drives my wife crazy sometimes because I'll just be laughing for no reason.
