A Quote by Myles Munroe

True Leaders do not manipulate others they INSPIRE them. — © Myles Munroe
True Leaders do not manipulate others they INSPIRE them.
There are leaders, and there are those who lead. Leaders are those who hold a position of power or authority. But those who lead are those who inspire us. And it's those who start with why, that have the ability to inspire those around them or find others who inspire them.
Great leaders inspire, they don't manipulate.
Leaders encourage others to continue the quest and inspire others through courage and hope. Leaders give heart by visibly recognizing others' contributions to the common vision. With a thank you note, a smile, an award, and public praise, the leader lets others know how much they mean to the organization.
It remains true that great managers recognize individualities and focus on developing strengths rather than weaknesses. Great leaders, in sharp contrast, recognize what is (or could be) shared in common - a vision, a dream, a mission, whatever - and inspire others to join them in the given enterprise.
The important word there is inspire. The key difference between managers and leaders is that managers tell people what to do, while leaders inspire them to do it. Inspiration comes from three things: clarity of one's vision, courage of their conviction and the ability to effectively communicate both of those things.
Average leaders raise the bar on themselves; good leaders raise the bar for others; great leaders inspire others to raise their own bar.
Average leaders inspire people to punch a time clock. Great leaders inspire industry and passion.
To inspire others, you must first inspire yourself. Only true passion can awake passion in others
Players that aren't true leaders but try to be, always bash other players after a mistake. True leaders on the pitch already assume others will make mistakes.
Managers will tell people what to do, whereas leaders will inspire them to do it, and there are a few things that go into the ability to inspire.
True leaders inspire people to a bigger vision.
Our job is to help people take ownership of the process of electing their government. As leaders, our job is to inspire others and not discourage them.
True leaders inspire us to be bigger and do things we are afraid of doing.
Whenever you take the time to inspire someone, to aid them in their inner search, you'll find energy will come back to you - unless you are ego tripping or you are trying to manipulate them.
Leaders create and inspire new leaders by instilling faith in their leadership abilities and helping them develop and hone leadership skills they don't know they possess.
I try to find, celebrate and teach leaders how to build platforms that will inspire others.
