I took it really seriously... as serious as any actor could take a movie . I had so much fun doing movie Dragonball . But I take any part I do seriously because I feel a sense of responsibility to the young kids who have saved their money to go and see a movie. I feel it's my responsibility to make it the best I can, because I don't want to let anyone down.
I work with the options I have in front of me and my reasons for choosing a job can vary enormously depending on the circumstances. My advice to people today is as follows: if you take the game of life seriously, if you take your nervous system seriously, if you take your sense organs seriously, if you take the energy process seriously, you must turn on, tune in, and drop out.
Work hard, take it seriously, embrace your ambition. And when you're not doing that, do something - whatever it happens to be - that taps into the part of you that makes you forget about all the rest of it.
My dad always said you have to value and respect the responsibility you've been given. When I coach, I take that responsibility seriously because I know people have trusted in me, and there are thousands of supporters whose emotions are bound up in what we do.
I was offered more work after the Oscar. When I was younger, I would take whatever I was offered because it was money and work and experience. In a way, choosing is the hard part. I know that's a luxury problem, but it's true. I try to go where passion takes me.
Take your work seriously but never take yourself seriously and do not take what happens either to yourself or your work seriously.
Do the work, enjoy the work, take it seriously, don't take yourself seriously and keep your head down!
I think singing comes most naturally for me. Because it's part of your body - it's a natural thing. You can practice all you want but it's part of your body.
