Every actor evolves over a period of time.
You need an actor who can maintain a character over a long period of time. If you have a weak actor, it won't be obvious in two hours, but you'll begin to see his weaknesses over four or five days.
People's lives change dramatically over such a long time period, and I think that if you're still vital, and you're still interested in writing and things like that, of course your music evolves and reflects where you are in your life.
I like to do a movie, to be on it 8, 10 weeks. It evolves as you're working on it. Little things come to you every day. It's a slow process, and when you have to pack it into a short period of time, which you do for television, the experience is not one that I cherish. So if it's going to be television, it's really got to be the right thing.
I admire actors that consistently challenge themselves and play a wide range of different roles. Every actor has a reason for being an actor... it's boring to play the same person over and over again. People like Daniel Day Lewis, who completely transform time and time again, I look up to.
It is very essential as an actor to be a perfectionist and have a knack for doing different roles over a period of time to keep their fans entertained.
As an actor, I obviously want to do lead roles but over a period of time, one gets prepared to carry a movie on your own shoulder.
I think our sport evolves as the talent evolves and the mindset evolves.
Of course everybodys thinking evolves over time.
Of course everybody's thinking evolves over time.
The team evolves over time, and players need replacing.
I think comedy is drama, often. It's hard to have comedy over a period of time - commercials are one thing, but over a period of time - comedy and tragedy go hand in hand.
I feel like when you listen to music, it's almost like the same thing over and over, but of course as time goes on, rappers evolve, lyrical play evolves.
There was a long period where every time someone was shot or stabbed the BBC would call me. I started to think, 'I'm an actor and a musician, I don't want to be a politician or a spokesperson.'
There was a period in my life where I went out a lot and I had a really good time. But that period is over.
Humans more easily remember or learn items when they are studied a few times over a long period of time (spaced presentation), rather than studied repeatedly in a short period of time.
I became an actor kind of by accident. I was in musical theater and I got a job as an actor in a play and kept going. But I never set out to be an actor; it happened over time.
